Delete your account

1 Who controls your account

Accounts are created and managed by your school (there is no public sign-up). Your school is the owner of the records it keeps, so the quickest way to close an account is to ask your school office. You can also ask us directly and we will act on it with your school.

2 How to request deletion

• Staff (teachers, office staff): ask your school administrator to deactivate or remove your account, or email us from the address registered on your account.
• Students and parents: ask the school office, or email us with the school name, the student’s name and admission number. Requests for a student under 18 must come from a parent or guardian.
• Email: softcoreaxis@gmail.com with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will reply promptly and may ask you to confirm the request.

3 What is deleted

• Your sign-in account: email/password, PIN, trusted devices and app sessions (all phones are signed out).
• Personal profile details held for you, such as contact details and photo, once your school confirms the request.
• On your phone: signing out of the app, or uninstalling it, deletes the app’s offline copy of your data.

4 What may be kept, and for how long

Some school records have to be kept by the school by law or for the student’s own benefit — for example fee receipts and accounts (as required by tax and accounting law), admission, attendance and exam results, and transfer or leaving certificates. These stay with the school, without an active sign-in, for as long as the school is required to keep them, and are then deleted. Copies in server backups are removed as those backups are rotated out.

A school that stops using CoreAxis can export its data and ask for its entire database to be deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.
